CIX670 IES32, I had DIDs going directly to VM, In 309 06 dialing digits set to 8 (VM Pilot) and VMID set to box that I want to answer. I just got a call saying that number was going to main greeting. I did some testing and the way it is it goes to the main greeting. If I change the vm applications digits to the box it rings that box, but it first plays a second of the instructional greeting and then goes to the box its supposed to. Is it a VM issue or a phone system issue?

Also Individual DIDs that ring extensions when they forward to VM they go to the main greeting not the individuals box. They did work before.

Sounds like an integration problem to me. Usually this is because the PBX and the voicemail system can not communicate on network.A couple reasons could be that something got unplugged, or there was an IP conflict, or an issue with one of the network adapters.

Typically another symptom is that people will get the main menu when they dial the voicemail pilot or press the message light.

You may have to visit the site to verify that both the PBX and iES32 have network connections, and that you can ping both systems. Also try rebooting the iES32. If that doesn't work then either power cycle the PBX or delete then recreate the LAN SMDI settings.

If the iES stops communicating by the IP network, I would suspect an IP conflict on the network. Sometimes when the Stratagy's old Windows OS detects another device using the same IP address it will completely stop communicating until a reboot. You amy need to make sure that the IT guy is not using the same IP address and that the Toshiba system's IP addresses are outside the DHCP scope or excluded.

Thank you, I figured it was something I did cause I started programming ACD and a MAS. It seemed to work after I did most of it. I unplugged the MAS from the network and rebooted the CIX and IES and its working fine now. I double checked IPs, IES is .2 and MAS is .3. I have my own range of IPs that know one else uses. Maybe I screwed up the LAN settings in 801.
