I have a customer with IP Office ver 9.0 with 9500 series phones. Occasionally, random stations are unable to receive pages. Unplugging the phone for a few seconds clears the problem, but most of the affected phones are wall-mounted, and the customer has a difficult time with this. Any idea what causes this? Tough to believe I have that many bad phones...

Don't think it's the phones. How many phones involved?

10 or 12 phones are involved, all in the same page group. It just seems to happen ever so often. I don't have any info about system state when it happens, nor have I been able to reproduce it. It's quite a poser.

All phones at the location are in the same, single page group. The affect4d phone(s) varies- hasn't been the same phone twice.

Are there too many phones in the paging group. I think there is a limit because of power issue. Set up a second page group with half phones in each. That many solve the problem.

I can try that, but 10 or 12 phones doesn't seem like an excessive number of phones for a page group.
I finally had the issue occur a second time to the same extension. Perhaps I have a bad digital module? The other most recent phone was in the same module...

Are you on the most current release of 9.0? would upgrade to that..as some of the early 9.0 maint builds had issues. In a perfect world, get them to 9.1.8

Did the upgrade to 9.1.....wasn't the lead tech so I don't know the build number, but we're gonna wait and see. I've got my fingers crossed.
