When we get the VM to emails, the from, or sender is blank. We do have an in-house exchange server, but we are not using authentication.
Says no sender on smartphones and in Outlook the from is just blank.
Thanks Chaz

The default setting is "Message Notification from UM" and is set in each mailbox - email settings called, title

I think that setting updates the subject line. The emails are coming in as unknown sender. In Outlook, the from field is blank.
Our 700 is on the other side of the VPN in regards to the exchange server. Wondering if that is the reason the from field is blank. Ideally it would say KEY-VM as programmed in the SMTP setup as the Sender

I dont think being across the vpn would matter.
what is setup on the mail server on that account. Maybe you need to have a user name and password for the server to send out with a sender address, the system is basic and if you are just passing through the mail server it will have no sender
