I am working on a Vodavi 3500-01 station that has 3 DID's. Can the individual DID's be assigned to independent CO's on the the phone. Meaning they have a DID example (555)555-5555 that rings in on CO1 on the phone (currently working). There are 2 other DID numbers example (555)555-5556 and (555)555-5557, any idea how I can assign these back to CO2 and CO3 respectively? So if a person calls (555)555-5556 incoming call comes in on CO2 and (555)555-5557 would come in on CO3 on the phone? Thanks in advance

The only way you can have DID numbers is if the system has and ISDN/PRI circuit. Are you sure you have DIDs? A PRI circuit runs anywhere from $500.00 to $1,000.00+ per month.
But to answer your question: If you have a PRI, some service providers can point numbers to specific channels on the PRI so that they appear as CO line appearances. This is a function of the service provider and many won't do it. The last that I heard, only a Nortel DMS central office has this capability.

like Ed said you probably don't have DID's
How is dialtone being provided ?
Just ID the numbers on all three lines , you should then be able to dial them direct .

I'd bet you just have 3 CO lines also, wouldn't be very cost effective to have a PRI with just 3 lines. Also if you do have CO lines if they hunt even dialing the number direct wouldn't do any good if the line were busy as it would just hunt to the next available line. If you want to direct a CO line to a specific phone or line you'd have to remove the hunting, which of course would give the caller a busy signal if the line were in use. So I guess it boils down to how you want to use your phone lines and system. The way the dial tone is provide will help you decide ans Skip said.

Im not certain of much but I am certain they aren't paying that much for phones:) So def not DID's
Basically they have 3 numbers that can be dialed into from the outside. Example (555)555-5555 rings to CO1, (555)555-5556 to CO2 and (555)555-5557 to CO3. Any idea how I would assign these numbers to the CO's using keystrokes on the phone? Or what that might be called in the manualso I could look it up??

So I've spent several days trying to figure this out with no luck.
Is there similiar a button combination like the one listed below on STS100 (primary) similiar to this to assign a number (555)555-5556 to CO2 button on the phone?
from the progamming phone (normally 100) keep the phone on-hook and enter the password. --> in my case default from the manual press flash 40 enter the co line numbers (001 – 004, or HOLD for all incoming line) or whatever lines you want to ring. press flexbile button 10 enter the ext number
then press the corresponding ringing options 1 for day 2 or night or 7 for all times
**(press flexible button 13 to make sure the programming took)** For me the HOLD needed to be pushed instead of button 13 to save the program.

If you are trying to move a particular line to a particular button then look for flexible button programming (Flash 50/51).

First off thanks for the reply, hope yo had a good holiday and sorry for the late response. Both 56 and 57 when dialed from and outside line ring but it never makes it through to the actual phone. Makes it seem as no one is there to answer. I am trying to verify 56 and 57 are tied to in coming CO lines example CO2 and CO3 before I go repunching wires that may not need my hands on them
