We have Avaya Communicator, ver 2.1.4.88 installed on a laptop we use with our demo IP Office system, ver 9.1, that works as advertised except when trying to retrieve voicemail using the icon in the application. An error message comes up saying no number has been configured to access voice mail. Seems like a simple fix, but I can't find any configuration settings within the application that allows me to just tell the thing to dial *17. I can find UMS messaging settings, but we aren't using that. Is there some setting in Manager I need to make? I'm having a pretty good day otherwise....

Did some digging and discovered the feature I'm trying to activate only works IF One-X portal services AND Voicemail Pro are being utilized, otherwise only basic functions of Communicator are supported. Just so ya know...
