Hi,
Facing a strange issue on OfficeServ 7100 with Samsung SMT IP Phones.
Some specific system ids (32xx) generates heavy traffic, 2 udp ports in 300xx range starts constant send/receive even though call is not active.
If a new system id is generated for the same extension the issue goes off.
If the same system id is assigned to another working phone, the issue comes back.
Any ideas what may be affecting it ?
Thanks

Easy. The users of those ext numbers with those particular id's have pressed the hold key and have bgm playing. Just press the hold key to turn it off.

Trying to program On Hold Music feature on Samsung V7100. When programming on the sets Using TRANSFER, it will not let me enter the complete string of numbers (309). It only takes 9.

First off welcome to the forum. Next time you may want to start a new topic instead of bumping an older unrelated topic. What you are doing cannot be done from a station user programming. You need to access tech or admin level programming to do this and you will need the passwords for the access.

Sorry for the confusion I caused. I am new to this and willing to learn how to find more acceptable means to communicate in this forum. Thanks for your insight on the system.
