Hi, I used to fit NEC in the UK a few years back and have recently moved to Singapore. My friend over here has asked me to fit them an external music device for their on NECSL1100. Upon looking at the system I have noticed the MOH and BGM port is shared with CO2 and CO3 which is not the case back in the UK where they have a 3.5 jack. The MOH/CO3 port was not been used so I connected the MOH player to the port using the centre pins. Now my problem is I've done the basic programming steps 10-04-01 and 14-08-01 to enable external MOH but it is just silent. Is there a programming step that I am missing possibly to change the CO3 port to a MOH port?.

I'm not familiar with that version of the system, but given what I know about NEC products, I would guess that the MOH input is not on the center set of pins on that connector.
In my experience with SL1100 - MOH is on by default.

Does the system have the wizard option? Here in the US it guides you through all programming steps.
