I have a customer with a Comdial FXII that I can not get VMMI to work on. I keep getting an error that says to check the communications parameters. I can telnet in on the same serial ports and log into the system, but VMMI doesn't work. Any thoughts on getting VMMI to work so I can service this system?

Unless you logout after you Telnet or Hyperterm/PUTTY into the port it will act as you are reporting. Also the correct level of VMMI is important.

Watch your speed and port settings. Also the vmmi version matters

As stated above.VERSION MATTERS.. that was a issues with us in the past. you need to find versions and see what version the FXII is. also speed does make a difference. try it at several different levels
