Here is one for the old Inter-Tel guys on this forum.
I have a 5.115 system (yes I know it's old, but it works), and up until about a week ago everything was working fine, then all of sudden voicemail emails stopped being delivered to our mail server.
I logged into the Inter-Tel Windows NT 4.0 Workstation and when I run the AvdapMon application it reports to errors which I have never seen before:
NTFY]Reached max outgoing calls. EMAILDLV]Logging on to the email system... EMAILDLV]ALARM: Cannot logon to the email system (rc=3)
I have logged into to DB Studio and reset all of the E-mail Gateway items, have tested the login on our local mail server, have run Telnet tests from the Inter-Tel system to our mail server and all work fine.
Any idea what could be causing this, and where I can look to see more than the above.
Thanks for your help, my installer is no longer in business, so I am stuck doing this on my own, although I am a network engineer by trade, I am not a phone system expert.
Regards, Jim

Well after a number of different configurations, I finally figured out what the problem was; unfortunately I had to restore a DB back to 2007!
It seems that you cannot use a FQDN email in the E-mail Username field in DB Studio.
Oh, well now I have to tweak all the changes from 2007 to present, at least I had most of them recorded in my notes over the years.

Thanks MacGyver, and no offense on the "old guy" thing, I am "old guy" myself; having starting programming with punch cards :-)
I know it took me awhile to post here; however to be honest, my 5.115 has worked without a hitch for quite some time.
I do have some need of assistance though and hopefully will find someone on here who can help with the following:
1. Can't Send/Receive Faxes (I believe it's because I don't have the proper card), as the Summary.txt file says "0 Fax Ports"
2. I need the Axxess 5.1 software in case I need to rebuild the box.
3. I would like to find a version of the software that works with Windows Server 2000 instead of NT4 that is not going to cost me an arm and a leg.
4. I would like to find a version of DB Studio that doesn't require me to configure a Windows 98 Virtual PC and connect via COM port, when I attempt to connect via IP, it give me an error about the wrong "family"
Anyway, since you are an Admin here, maybe you can help point me in the right direction?
Thanks again for the welcome!

Jim unfortunately the software can be a bit of an issue as it's all copyrighted. Usually you end up having to find that from an authroized dealer. Hopefully you won't have to rebuild the box.
On the other issues we have a few couple of moderators and a few techs here in the Inter-tel forum that can most likely tell you where the problem is. Personally I'm a bit rusty on the fax issues, but Rhett or Chris will probably be by shortly. :thumb:

I think I will start a new thread on the fax issue and see what comes of it.
