Customer with an OS7100 running ver.4.14k (out of state customer so updating software at this point is not an option).
IT tech changed ISP and a new public IP address is configured in the system LAN Parameters but the public IP address for the MGI card is not editable. The MGI is holding on to the old public IP address.
Able to connect IT Tool to the phone system remotely using the new pubic IP address
Have tried a reboot and programming through remote phone but no luck getting the MGI Pubic IP Address to update to the new address.
Is there a trick to getting this IP address updated?

I've had this issue. It's a bug either with it tool or the software.
I think i had to use a phone to change the public ip on the system and it then changed the mgi.

Connecting a remote IP phone, changing the public IP address of the system, and then completing the required system reboot worked. Even using a remote IP phone that is a couple of states away.
