I have an Axxess version 7.0 256 CPU. The MOH port on the CPU card seemed to die last summer. We started using the Music 2 port on the Options card. Now the music is flaking out again. I have a spare OPC card and pretty certain it's the same 7.0 version. Is it ok to swap? Would it be ok even if it was a different version, or are there chips that get swapped on the OPC card during an upgrade?
Thanks in advance.

OPC's are generic, swap away.

Ok, thanks. One more question. Should the system be shutdown, or are these hot-swappable. We will do early in the morning before anybody is around, but just wondered if necessary to shut everything down. Just disconnect the music feed and the PCM, swap cards, reconnect, good to go?
Thanks.

They are hot-swappable, but be sure the old and new cards have the same amount of DSP's on them. Those are the big, four square chip sockets all in a row. Also there is a PAL chip that allows the specific amount of DSP's to function.
