The lady I spoke to yesterday said I could use the X25 on standard Verizon lines. She also said that if we decide to get phone service from Comcast, the X25 would work and it would be just a matter of running the telephone outputs from the Comcast modem to the X25 line inputs. Are you referring to the telephone side? I'm also looking at the SYN248, which is definitely VOIP on the telephone side. This setup would probably be easier. Thanks
