We are running the Inter-Tel Reporter Pro software on our Citrix server. We have multiple people using the software and each person needs their own custom reports, etc.
The problem is that when running on a thin client the users appear to share the same list of reports instead of having their own custom reports like other people who have a PC instead of a thin client device. We are having problems where people are accidentally modifying and/or deleting other people's reports.
Is there a way to use Reporter Pro on a thin client where each person has their own custom list? Where are these user customizations being stored.....is there a common .INI file that is being shared on the server?
Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe, at my site we all share the workstation with Reporter Pro so I can't say about different user accounts having their own reports.
The filters are stored in the Reporter Pro program folder, *.flt files. I believe the reports are *.cvd files.
I know that if you copy these files from one install to another, the 2nd install now has the filters and reports of the first.
Since we share the Reporter Pro workstation what we do is that each reporter user has a separate folder of reports. I'm talking about the folders in the left-hand pane in Reporter Pro itself. To create a new one you type in a new category in the report's properties. Even though Category is a list box you can type into it to create a new entry.

I've found one way to make it work on Citrix. Each user must have their own folder under program files with a copy of the application files. Create a desktop shortcut for each user to their own folder. It's cumbersome and wasteful. But it works. Inter-Tel says it will work, and has documentation. I've not seen it work. They say a folder can be created in each user's profile "Windows" folder. You can try it, but it hasn't worked for me.

We have 6 servers supporting Citrix. Each one is set up this way. If they make a change on one server, it does not follow to the other.
