I just recently started working on Inter-Tel Axxess systems at my boss's request. I installed a 5.2F2 system with a PRI and am having issues on the PRI. Everytime I try to make a toll or toll-free call I get the phone company message of "you must first dial a 1 to reach this number". Local and 10 digit local dialing work just fine. I talked to the CO vendor and they said they that they are not receiving the 1 digit from the switch. Does any one have any ideas on how I can fix this?

This same thing happened to me last week when I was cutting over a new T1. My paperwork had signaling specified as National ISDN 2, but the carriers paperwork said DMS-100.
When set to NISDN2 on both sides, I got the LD error recording. When both sides were set to DMS-100 I could make successful LD calls. Here's the funky part. Thier end was left at DMS-100, and my end was Nat. ISDN 2 - I was able to make all calls and they could see my traffic.
