Anyone know where I could get a Telrad RAU or the answer to a better solution? Need a device that will convert the error messages out of the map port (serial) to notify an email address when they occur.

Will this be of any help to you? This manufacturer makes all kinds of variations of hardware for similar applications. You should contact them and see what they can do. CHECK OUT THE PORT SERVER

We never had much luck with the RAU so I set out to make a network programmer but never gave thought about notification via email. Just never saw the need.

We have been using the Lantronix MSS100 for programming via the network, works well. Was just looking for a way to get notification for when a PRI or N24, TVSe would go down.
