Hi, is there a way I can confirm that our PBX (Axxess v11) is providing the caller ID name field correctly to our provider? Or some typical setting that is needed for this?

Whatever I configure for Calling Party Name on a station, outbound calls from that station show our provider's default name for our DID numbers. If I specify the Calling Party Number this does work but not the name.

We have PRI circuits using NI2 signaling.

Provider says that they are set up correctly and they question if we are sending a name.

Thanks for any help or advice!

Telecom provider did some research and discovered that even though their provisioning database says we are NI2, they are actually set in the switch for NI1.

PBX is set for NI2. If I ask provider to switch to NI2 off-hours will there be any impact to PBX?
