Customer has ctx 100 looking to add a voicemail.I know ivp8 will work but will a lvmu work or is there a requirement version for the actu2a for it to work.Thanks

I think I remember the ACTU2A has to be a release 5 or higher. Is that correct?Thanks.

To support an LVMU in a CIX the software must be R4.2 MP026 or above so you will need an ACTU3 for the CIX100.

An LVMU won't work on an ACTU2A processor An ACTU2A can only go up to version 3.10. Only an ACTU3A processor can be upgraded to version 5.XX
The IVP8 R2 is pretty stable,I have had less problems with LVMU voicemails then IVP8. I have a handful of IVP8 VMs with various issues. Since they don't sell the IVP8s anymore, I would assume that you would be using a used VP8, while you can still get an LVMU.
Just don't get an old IVP8 R1

Teleco TIS16 works reasonably well on CTX if you have one knocking about the workshop?
