So my old plantronics headset is going to crap and wanted a new phone with built in bluetooth so I can use any headset. The newer IP-PT do have bluetooth like the KX-HDV430 but I would have to install it on my current KX-TDA50. Currently not interested in using it for VoIP but maybe later. So: 1. Is the HDV430 phone compatible with my system if I purchase the IP-EXT card only? 2. Will the phone handle my regular CO lines and act like my current PT phones? 3. Can I later integrate my google voice VOIP (which is a separate box that connects to a CO line) down the road with a SIP gateway card? 4. Can the HDV430 view any IP camera is it just the Panny cameras?
Thanks for the advice

Richard,
I can't answer your questions, but is it possible for you to consider a Panasonic NS700 system? Those two cards are pretty pricey for the 50G. If you want to discuss it, send me a PM.
Thanks.

The hdv will not work on the 50 as it is sip extension

So, as i understand it, a SIP extension connects to the internet for provisioning, etc and I am sure it will interact with a PBX(not the 50) via the local intranet. I am not interested in using the HDV as a SIP but will it at least talk to the 50 so it can make and place CO line calls?
