Client having weird issue. When someone is using extension 303 incoming calls don’t ring on remaining 7 stations. They can see a call coming in, but no ringing. Its not ringing volume. System was installed 6 years ago, never had issues like that, but they claim it might have been like this for awhile since they rarely use 303 extension. Don’t know if it’s related, about three weeks ago I’ve got a first service call from them, their fax transfer stopped working. They could transfer a fax call to analog station port, fax machine would answer and drop the call. Resetting system didn’t help, but after i installed 3.46 firmware and SP1 problem was solved. SP2 was released recently, will update after hours and see if it helps. Anyone experienced something similar? Could it be sign of station card failure?

It seems there is posting current on NEC DSX FORUMS. The forum is supported by NEC at present. The site list support on the 3.46 upgrade and issues. Ive never use TEMP feature, sorry cant help. This forum is not NTAC and pretains to just the DSX. Good luck

Could you please share a link to DSX Forum? I’ve posted another DSX issue in Technical Lounge section few month ago and haven’t got a single response. I could escalate this issue to NTAC Tech Support, but it’s not worth it, I know what they’re going to tell me... swap the station card first if it doesn’t help swap cpu next.
