I picked up a used IP SLA but have no idea how to configure it.
Does anyone have a link to a manual?

You will need database programming access and a password to get in. In session manager you can configure the port you are plugging into to be SLA. You will also need to set the jumper inside the SLA to be used for SL or T1. Randy

Sounds easy enough.
Is there a single analog port on these or is it 2? I've seen both on different websites.
Also what is the t1 jumper do?
Is there any documentation on the unit?

OK... Upon looking at it further.
There are no jumpers.
Just a 10-base-T network port and a SL phone port on the back.
The front has three lights. Online, SL Status, and IP status.
It's an Inter-tel IP-SLA 770.3000
Since there is no power Adapter I assume it's POE.
But when I plug it into a POE switch I get nothing.

Also on a side note... Pictures of other units I see online show a dc power connector on the one side and a reset on the other.
The power jack on mine is completely empty with a sticker covering it up. No printing and there doesn't even seem to be a place for the power jack on the circuit board.
Also the reset button hole doesn't have any printing nor does it have a switch on the circuit board.

I think he was confused by the fact that there are two boxes that are SLA. There's the old school SLA, and then there's the IP SLA. The old SLA takes a digital link in, puts out two analog lines, and has jumpers.
The IP SLA has ethernet in, puts out a single analog line. Which is what you seem to have.
The SLA predates Inter-tel use of 802.11af PoE. It requires the 24V inilne power wall brick. The 48V version won't work, like the 8662 has. The power jack may or maynot exist depending on version, but the official way to make it work is the inline power brick.
Again, depending on version, it may have the factory default button or not..
It programs just like an IP Phone +, connecting to your IPRC card. To default it for the older rev, plug and unplug the ethernet cord 6 times within 3 seconds.
Not the easiest thing to setup or use, you have to be familiar with IT's other VOIP products for the most part. The manual breezes over it, mostly a picture of it, and what the LEDs do.

Perfect.. That's what I needed to hear.
OK.. So First I need a 24 Volt Inline Power Brick. (Any Part Numbers or are they the same?)
Or could someone tell me which pins are used for Voltage. I could easily make one as well.
I've still not been able to find a manual online anywhere. I've programmed in in the system but wouldn't mind reading up more.

OK. I got the 24 Volt Inline Power.
Got into the web Admin.
Set everything up as DHCP.
I added it as a device on my 5600 using the IP-SLA's MAC.
The IP-SLA seams to be working. But the 5600 never sees it.
Is there something special I need to be doing to get this to work?
Thanks,
Jeff

To add a little info to it.
I have 10 C Licenses free.
The IP-SLA is: Device: IP Single-Line Adapter Version: 1.203 Build Date and Time: Wed Apr 25 2001 12:33:57 Boot Version: 29Mar01

I've tried doing static instead of DHCP.. I've also tried some of the other Call Configurations. No luck. The 5600 always shows it OFFLINE in the IP Device Status Window.
Yet I have no problems getting to the Web Config and everything seams to be working fine.
