Strange thing with the customer's UC Suite ver 5.1, running on the server blade in SV9100. I was called to change the name for a new employee replacing an employee who left the company. Also, swapping extension numbers and UC logins with the new user and another user, per the customer. All IP phones.

The presence for the user that has left the company says 'not available'. And the swapped extension numbers are correct on the phones, but still showing the old extension numbers and names in UC. How do I change these? I thought UC got it's data from the 9100 program.

I've tried removing the extension from the blf in UC, then adding it back, but it didn't help. Here's a strange thing I found: In 20-57 there are no entries. When I looked back at some old backups from a couple months ago, there is data in 20-57 for the UC users. Not sure why that data is missing, but it is. But even with nothing in 20-57 the other UC users seem to be working ok.

Thanks again for the help.
Jim

Well, don't I feel dumb. I guess I never restarted the pc. If I had, I would have had to log into UC and could enter the correct user right there. Sorry to bother you folks.
BTW, 20-57 isn't used now. 20-59 is where it's at.

we use the uc as well and I have a question about that you may be able to help with. When we first set up the phone system they assigned the agents numbers such as 47, 3, and so on. However when I go into the UC Admin It has the original ones but it also pulls over anyone that is on a ACD as well using the extension number. It automatically created user 3207, 3288, and so on. If I delete the users that it made on its own they end up coming back in a week or so, re-appearing. So the reason we use the ones we made is so if agent 34 has computer issues she can switch to another work area and always log in as agent 34. They do sit at their own desk 99.9% of the time so its also just a legacy ting left over from the old phone system. Should I let the users use the system assigned numbers or just keep deleting them? Or can I make the system stop creating agents based off the extension numbers in acd groups?
