Here is what is happening with the system.

The issue is with call routing in the call pilot 150 it has operator calls being sent to 838.

It rings the operator phone 12 times and then drops in to the General mail box (100).

If I dial the 838 from an, extension on the system it rings to the operator phone.(234).
838 dose ring to 3 phones on the system, I did look at ring groups in the phone switch MICS.
but it it dose not have 838 listed as a active ring group.
and it is not listed in the system as an extension

But have not been able to find 838 in the phone switch to be able to change the ringing number.

What does it say exactly on the display of 234 when the call is coming in when you intercom 838?

If you want 234 to be the Attendant then why not change the Attendant setting under "Table" in voice mail?


838 could be a Hunt Group DN or Dest code but Ring Groups do not have DN numbers therefore cannot be called internally.

This sounds like that:
1 - 234 is not call forwarded no answer to voice mails DN
2 - that DRT took over and sent the call to General Delivery because there is no mailbox for 838 or 234

atg tech matthew do you have an update?

Are we in ignore mode?

atg tech matthew hasn't been posting since 9/28 so either he found the answer to his problem or it's SEP.

It is common courtesy to update the thread with the solution be it found here or elsewhere rather than leave those whom have spent time trying to help are not left hanging.

I myself tend not to help those who expect help then cease communication when they return with another problem.

Asking twice for an update over ample time given (for holidays/sick leave) shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Such is life these days, but we don't know the entire story.

Let's hallucinate freely as to why no response was given:

• The User is no longer amongst the living
• The User didn't have the authority from the boss to solve the problem
• The User had Internet privileges revoked by Mom
• The User's only internet access crashed and burned
• The User forgot the User Name, Password and Website
• The User forgot the question was asked
• ...

I get all that already have so for 20 years on these forums, I am 53 years old and not a child....not sure why you have such an issue with my 2 posts reminding the poster to update but please drop it already please and thanks.

I totally agree with your posts. It can be frustrating at time when someone asks for help, you advise them what to do (or point them in the right direction) and then crickets start chirping in the distance...chirping...chirping...
