Does anyone know if a BPTU PRI card will work on a 424 Rel 4.3

I believe the Mnfr. Part #: BPTU1A will work with the following systems: - CTX100
- CTX670
- DK40i (release 4.3)
- DK424 (release 4.3)
- DK424i
Someone else may correct me if I am in error.

Thanks I'm having trouble receiving calls (outbound works) I have I've told AT&T NI-1 but I'm seeing names in the layer 3 stuff. Could somebody take a look at this DK424 Rel 4.3 BPTU1

Why are AT&T sending you names on the ISDN PRI service? can they switch them off? Have you configured the DID's correctly? you can also set the DID intercept up so that you will allow anything in and present to an extension or GCO/PL key etc

AT&T is saying they send NI2 only. This particular product uses a fiber to IAD conversion for PRI emulation. I'm using DNIS with the intercept port set to their auto attendant (a Strategy DK voicemail). Calls hit the D channel you can see from the (PRI log above) then are rejected by the Toshiba DK. you get an intercept from the carrier

My guess is if you hook up an ISDN Trend tester or similar in TE mode and send a call into the system it will work correctly. Some IAD or ATA adapters have options to remove the "friendly name" etc so this will need to be fixed by AT&T in their IAD.

yes I agree but AT&T up to the managerial level is sticking to their guns on the NI2 standard which is sending the name. No worries this customer needs to upgrade to at least a CIX and will now be forced to do so.

Hope you have a CIX on a shelf since Mitel discontinued the sale of all processors and cabinets as of this month. It might make it a little harder to sell an upgrade form an obsolete product to a recently discontinued product, but good luck.
