Hi guys - I've poured over the 1995 issued Inter-tel Axxess guide all morning and I'm stumped - maybe someone in here has some words of wisdom! On most of our phones, after 5-6 rings the incoming call is offered voicemail. On one particular extension, it'll ring forever - both from outside and inside calls. But if the receptionist manually sends it to the voicemail box using 279 and the extension, it works. Anyone have any ideas?
The handset is marked Inter-Tel 550.4000 - I hope that helps.
Thanks, Neena

Make sure that there is a System Forwarding path assigned to that extension and that System Forwarding is On under Flags. You'll also want to ensure that IC is set to yes within the System Forwarding Path in order for internal calls to forward to voicemail after X amount of rings. If you want to be able to have the opportunity to answer a 2nd call, make sure to uncheck Busy.
