Hey gang,
Panasonic TDA50 --
How/where do I enter floating external page number 600 so when incoming co rings it wILL also ring through paging port/speakers.....added it to ICD601....no luck...assigned in Operator/floating extension ....no luck... when I replace 601 in CO DIL it rings paging (just did for testing) I understand this system will do this so I don't have do buy other physical paging equipment with ringing/SLT hookup....

The ring to paging port only works on dil/ddi to 600. Cant be in a group
You could have it ring the pager and use pickup to answer

Thanks OBT..... that's lame they don't/didn't offer that...but oh well.
As your suggestion they have phones that wouldn't hear the P.A.....so no go on that......

There is somewhat of a "Disney engineering" fix. If you program an SLT port to ring for CO calls and connect (it has been a long time so I don't remember if you connect to paging input or output)it will make a noise through the paging speakers, but not an actual ringing sound.
