I am troubleshooting an issue with a Vertical Summit that has 4 phones on it. x101 is an SBX IP 24 button phone. x102-104 are SBX IP 8 Button phones. x101 never rings on incoming calls or incoming calls transferred from VSF.
All phones "should" ring on incoming calls and then if unanswered, VSF 01 should play with options to transfer to any of the 4 extensions: Station Group Assignment (190) has x101 through x104 as part of 401 group. Station Group Attributes (191) Group 401 is set to Ring and then overflow to VSF 1
On all incoming calls, x101 (24 Button) will not ring and will not show caller ID. However, the other ext's do. Once the call overflows to VSF Announcement 01, and you choose the option to transfer to x101, it goes straight to voicemail. When you choose options for other ext's, they ring about 4 times (showing caller ID) then go to voicemail.
It seems like the 24 Button phone is set to DND but does not appear to be from what I can tell. When you press the DND/FWD button on the 24 button phone, the Speaker button light comes on instead (not the DND key). The other ext's are 8 button phones and have a Flex button for DND and they work as expected: Press the DND key, light comes on.
Does anyone have any ideas where to look or what the issue might be with only x101 that it acts like it is in DND all the time but does not show DND but shows Speaker light instead?

Time to check button programming rather than what is labelled on the Desi.

I would say you don't have loop keys or all line appearances on the phone, it doesn't match the other phones button setup.

I appreciate the assistance but I don't think either of these suggestions is/or will solve the problem. Here's why: 1) The 24 Button phone doesn't have a Soft Key assigned for DND -- It has the Fixed Button DND/FWD (one of the permanent keys, not a Desi/Soft Key). Is there a way to reprogram or check the programming of a Fixed Button?
2) They are using analog trunks and only have 2 -- Line 1 and Line 2 and have appearances for both on all phones, including this suspect phone.

OK. Problem Solved. Sometimes the easiest solution is the last one to think of trying. User said that the date and time were also off on that phone so she unplugged it and plugged it back in. All is working properly after rebooting the phone. Calls now ring through and caller id appears.
