FORGET IT!!! I just read all previous posts.. Any Pro's or Con's for this system? I searched & read some old reviews on the tech board but these were on the older systems. I'm thinking of installing this system for one of my customers. Looks very easy to install/program. Any thoughts? I'm looking for a phone system Small business with voicemail/auto attendant included. Thanks in Advance www.bizfon.com [This message has been edited by craigers99 (edited May 27, 2005).] [This message has been edited by craigers99 (edited May 27, 2005).]

What do you want it to do? Do you want to maintain your own system or are you looking for a phone vendor? Growth? Some people I have seen only need 2 lines phones with an answering machine.

I believe this system is made by Allworx. This being the case I'd go directly to them since the Allworx feature set is better than bizphone.

The Bizfon 680 is NOT made by allworx. Allworx created the x10 which is OEMed to Bizfon under the Bizfon7000 name. The basic design is the same but there are some features that are different. I think this will continue to grow.
I have over a 1000 bizfon 680s installed. For the money (and it's limitations, that all systems have) I would put it up against anything out there.

From what I've seen most digital KSU's will blow that thing out of the water! Man, don't bet the farm on it! Or you will be farmless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again I am not saying it's an end all be all, it has weaknesses and I do sell other systems as well. I wouldn't ever recommend this for a customer service center or if you need high end call acounting for example. But what Digital KSU do you have that supports 6 lines and 8 ext. that has 16 port VM, (most 8 port VMs cost more than the entire Bizfon system) call waiting caller ID on all lines, supervised virtual extension with full pbx functions, (not call forwarding) auto attendant fax routing among other things for @$1400?
PS I've been betting the farm on it for about 5 years now and I still have a pretty good farm.

Corwyn, sorry man didn’t mean to come off as a jerk. Does the Bizfon really have 16 ports of VM? Several years ago we looked at offering the Bizfon, which at the time we were very disappointed in the operation and quality above all. I’m sure things have improved since then. Good luck
