Have an OS7200-S V4.82 that randomly freezes. Does not trigger an alarm. All phones freeze. Whatever DSS keys are active at the time stay lit.
Must restart the system without the LAN cable connected to get the system to restart.
Once system restarts, we reconnect LAN cable and all SPNET functions return.
System is the third SPNET connection via a VPN from the main site which has an OS7400. System has all digital phones.System has no trunks - all voice originates from (2) PRI's at the OS7400.
Second SPNET system (an OS7030) has no issues.
What do you think is going on?

Something on the network is causing your issue.
Either a server trying to scan the system thinking it's a pc or a large amount of broadcast traffic.
A Wireshark trace will reveal which one. I think some workarounds were put in later software versions so that may help.
