I changed the # of Bits from 8 to 7. Now I can't use Stratagy on my Laptop to get into it. What are my options to reset this? Thanks, LYLE

Are you saying the factory has to reset it, or can I reset it with a laptop somehow?

Actually I was thinking of an LVMU where you can pull the battery to reset. The IVP8 is a but more complicated, although there is probably a short cut if you have a CF card reader.
Although I didn't think about the obvious answer which is to use the built-in modem and dial into the voicemail.

Have you tried changing your settings in Windows to 7 bits? If that doesn't work, try connecting with a modem via an SLT port. Worst case if you still can't get in, PM me.

use a compact flash reader and go into the install.cfg file and you can fix it in there with notepad.
