I don't know the tolerance on the 7030, but the idcs100 didn't work with anything lower than about 4.8v on the 5v rail.

Checked it again and it's actually 5v. So it must be a full brick. No response from putty, and no run light at all. 4V seems a little low I would guess power supply

So if you boot it up, you get nothing from the sio port?

Never used Putty do you have hyperterminal at all? What do you use for an SVMi?

I have used both for recovering systems. Putty and hyperterminal are the same essentially, putty also works on SVMi. This one is just bricked. I sent it out to telesource to see if they can attempt to repair it. If not, they will scrap it and it will be no charge.
