A customer has requested if we can block a specific 10-digit number from being able to call in over their PRI. I know I can block them outgoing via COS/TRS, but I've never been asked about inbound. Is this even possible?

On the 600 can you do inbound call routing based on caller ID numbers? I am pretty sure that you could do it in the voicemail, and then just route the number to a busy signal.

That's what I'm hoping to do. I just don't know where that routing is located in programming. I know I can route DID numbers anywhere I want, but never messed with the actual inbound number itself.

It can be done, I just can't remember exactly how at the moment.
I know you have to enable to CLI Ring for the four modes in your DID table. I can't remember for the life of me where to enter the incoming number and the destination.
I had to do it for a nursing home where one resident was calling another ALL day (external call to the other residents DID). I routed the calls out to the Telco test tone.

Yes, enable CLI ring in the DIDs, then assign the callers number into the speed dial table. To the right of the speed dial number in the column for CLI destination, send the call to an analog or PS extension. From there you can forward to a custom greeting" The number you have dialed is not in service" Kevin
