Axxess v11 system. Several months ago we started receieving both the 'name and number' at the same time, we didn't need to use the FAC 379. Contacted Mitel they had no explanation. Last Friday it stopped, or so I thought. It still shows on 'some' calls. I looked at the PRI trunk groups. This field 'Progagate Original Caller ID' is y on the 1st one and n on the 2nd one. The manual states 'defulat is n'. We like getting all the additional information. Do I chance it, change both to y.

'Progagate Original Caller ID' is what it will do when a call is forwarded off site, will it carry the CID that came from the CO or replace it with CID from your switch. Setting both to Y will not hurt anything. It will pass the info out when calls are transfered out if you have a PRI T-1 Depending on how your calls are landing at the phone will have an effect on what you will see, If you have a star app in place it will show the transfer from the timeout aplication and only display the name OR number depending on the feature code/flag. If the call is from a DID to the station it should show both as well as a HG call. Randy

Thank you. I'll change the PRI to have both as Y. I did notice when the call goes through the AA it has 'TRSFR' and the DID caller has both lines of data.

Oldmiss Enable the propagate original caller ID on unanswered calls flag.
Log into the customer's database and change the caller ID propagation flags via online monitor in the TG.
Disable 3 of the flags and enabled the 'propagate original caller ID on unanswered calls' flag.
