My distributor sent an email offering end of license sale until 9/30/20. Then he doesn't know what's happening after that. Anybody hearing things? Thanks.

Licenses will no long be available after 9/30/2020... So if you even remotely think your customer is going to want them, offer them the unlimited license sale. It saves money and you truly do get everything unlocked. Even vm to email gw.

I've heard the license servers will shutdown at the end of the year and that suppliers are in talks for them to make all licenses still available after, probably with a code or license that will enable everything.
Only rumors and nothing official so who knows what will happen.

Sorry it's taken me this long to reply. From my understanding, if you send in the unit to repair, you still get the same unit back with the same mac address. Therefore if you put in a new MP10a you can use the temp license that lasts 60 days. Our distributor has said that after 9/30/20 you can't buy licenses anymore. Now since Samsung is still carrying out warranties until 9/30/2024 you can possibly still get Samsung to do a license transfer. You'd have to go through your distributor for that though.

NTS Direct on Friday said there is a chance after 9/30 Samsung is just going to allow all the boxes to be fully licensed? Honestly I would tell the client for $250 plus your time if it is going to be in use for the long haul do it. At least if you can't get Samsung sets you could use 3rd party sip.

If anyone has any MP10a, MP20s Mp20, MP40's Svmi's in stock, we can license them for $250.00. email [email protected]. This will ensure that all your customers hardware are backed up and you don't need to worry about licenses when swapping out MP's i just had this happen this week.
