We setup twinning with all extensions.
Now x 209, his cell phone intercepts most of the incoming calls to the business main number.
The calls go to trhis guys voice mail, yet when I intercom x 209, sometimes he is able to answer.
I have logged out, then in, turned twinning off/on numerous times.
We have PRI
It seems issue with this guys cell phone providor?
Any thoughts?
Thank you

What makes x209 ring? has a DID?
Is he in a Hunt Group? You can turn off "Hunt group calls eligible for mobile twinning".

Need a little more info on what is the issue? Are too many calls ringing him? Is he not able to answer the calls?

in a hunt group, but most twinning phones ring right away, but his cell intercepts most of the calls, and sends call to his cell voice mail

we also have a collective hunt group, but we are twinning about 16 users.
Many times it works as should, but I was just talking to the employee whose cell phone keeps answering the incoming pilot number phone call, and immediately directing them to his cell phone vm.
He said he cleared out his cell phone vm the day this started because he was notified on his phone his vm was at 100% capacity. Any thoughts ??
Thank you

mongo5150, the issue is when outside callers call the business main line, the 16 users who are working remotely all their cell phones ring. But the guy at Ext. 209, his cell phone voice mail seems to answer the greater portion of those calls.

Yet when I am on site and call 209 he can answer

Well, you are going to have to trace the call routes.
Where does the Incoming call route direct the calls? To a hunt group set to ring as collective, and there is 16 users in it? so in addition to 16 phones ringing, you are having the twinning ring, 16 cell phones. And 209 cell voicemail is picking up....

Turn everything off...
Start over, as this is not a good way to handle calls...if you are twinning, you may need to adjust the number of rings for each station, based on how fast their cellular providers send the call to voicemail....reduce the voicemail coverage or remove the delay for when calls start to twin...

There is so much going on here, i would remove all users, add 209, get that set, then add the rest 1 by one...
