Is there any way of configuring a SLA/SLC port so that it always goes to the outside line without requiring the user to dial 8? I have a customer who does not like having to dial 8 before sending a fax on their fax machine, which is connected to an SLA (soon to be SLC card).

Sure. On the ext. make it a house phone. Put 8 in the day and night house phone options.
