Just installed sl2100 in a residence. At set up with multiline digital phones, dss keys worked with voice, station to to station, but the receiving phone had to press the speaker button to reply. We need the speaker button to come on with the speaker or be able to reply with no physical iteraction with the receiving phone. In other words total HFAI in AT&T terms. What did I miss in program?

20-02-12. It's also user selectable with a code.

Thanks but, 20-2-12 is set to voice, and the "hands free" option is is set to "on" on the phones, so it should work, but doesn't. The Called phone comes, on and you hear the caller's voice, but you can't reply without lifting the handset or pressing the Speaker button. We haven't tested it at all 14 extensions, but we have tested three. Should the receiving/called phone's speaker LED come on (to turn on the mic) when a voice call comes in? If so....it doesn't. The calling extension's Speaker button lights when he presses a dss key to initiate a intercom call.
If you have any other ideas i'm open to anything.
Thanks again. Jim

SL2100 digital and IP phones have a mute button, when its on the mic is off.

Thanks dans, I was gonna say that.
I'm guessing, the speaker LED should come on when a voice call comes in from another extension. Its not the phone, its all 14 extensions. There's something hiding in the set up programming, I just haven't found it yet.

Hey CoralTech, dans & Yoda, just for grins I tried pressing Speaker 721 on one of the phones and it worked, full hands free!! Got the idea from a WTC multi line terminals user guide for sl2100. "Auto Hands Free Answer" It must override something in pcpro, but I got no idee what.
Thanks for the input, thought I'd let you know.
