I just setup UM for the 1st time for this system. Licenses available. I used a GMail account. I am recieving the email with a WAV file attached. When I try to listen, I recieve a dialog box saying that the WAV file is formatted incorrectly. In the vm parameters the audio is set to dialogic 8K, I think I need to change it to PCM 8K, but don't know what ramifications this will have on existing greetings and messages. Any thoughts?

You are correct. If you want to be able to play the WAV files without the Toshiba audio decoder, then you would want to change the message recording type. The recordings will take more storage space, but this is probably not much to worry about on a MAS.
The help box says: NOTE: If you change this on an active system, all previously recorded messages will be lost.
You might want to do a full backup before changing anything.
