We have a SL2100 CO line tied to a Valcom page controller for paging. Whe the CO line button is pressed you can talk across the speakers for a few seconds then it cuts off. What programming do I need to change to keep the system from cutting off the page?

What model of Valcom paging controller do you have? It sounds like the Valcom may be set to be used on a page port rather than a CO line port and therefore is not providing talk battery. On most of the Valcom controllers there is a jumper or switch to provide talk battery, on others there is a different port to use.

Why use a trunk port when the system has an audio out connection for paging?

It's not the SL2100 cutting off the page

I assume you have battery switch on the Valcom?
