Hi,
We have more than 60 smt-i5220 Samsung IP phones with OfficeServ firmware. We want to convert them to SCME (SIP) firmware so we can use them as standart SIP phones but we could not find a way to download them. Can anybody share SCME SIP firmwares for smt-i5220? I have already converted i3105 and i5243 with success but can't find anything for i5220.
When i5220 ask for "ITP-SERIES/SMT-i5220/SMT-i5220.conf" file when I select "user upgrade" in engineering s/w update menu and it ask for "ITP-SERIES/SMT-i5220/rec.conf" file when I select "recovery upgrade" in engineering s/w update menu. Anybody know what should be inside conf files?
Regards,
Rahman

I'm trying to get it from my old colleagues. With samsung not in the pabx market in most (if not all) regions it's very hard to find. I just checked another site but they only have the SMT-i5220S SCM firmware

Caution
None of the released versions of SMT software were certified for generic SIP operation.
This is true of all of the OS7000 and SCM released versions.
Samsung did develop some SW for this purpose, but I do not believe it was every released.
If you are trying to connect an SMT phone as a generic SIP device, be careful, and do not expect good performance.

I'm pretty sure i've got a few of the software files for most of the phones and PBX's for that matter. Pretty sure i took a copy of everything before the kayko ftp site went dark last year. PM me and i'll send what i have. My junior tech picked up a few 5220's from an old customer that replaced their 7400. Going to try and put the SIP software on them. I was successful with a 5210, that's working on a grandstream; I dont recommend them for actual deployment unless its a hobby, programming them is a PITA.
