There's a major alarm:
"Check condition scsi uncorrectable data error" hard 1 soft 0 "Check condition scsi data address mark not found" hard 10 soft 0
The original dealer in the valley no longer seems to service legacy systems, and has abandoned us.
I have the moss sheet, a bunch of system rsd's and a recent data save.
Anyone in the L.A. area still servicing long past EOL SX2000's? -- not expecting a freebie, we'll pay for the service.
Thank you, Dave | | | | Joined: Apr 2021 Posts: 2 Member | OP Member Joined: Apr 2021 Posts: 2 | Follow up... I tried to make an rsd copy of the hard disk, which failed, now the system is acting peculiar, and cde crashes.
I have an rsd labeled sx.q40.12.5 lw29 rls 3 ur5 volume q40125fd
and a recent data save (which completed).
I have to reboot the non redundant system, if it doesn't come back up, I've read and reread the tech handbook and I'm still a bit confused, could someone let me know how to install a new winchester (9400-300-306-NA) restore from the system disk and data saves.
Hopefully, these are the only 2 rsd's I'll need!
