Hello all:

I use SV9100 CCIS trunk to SV9500se CCIS trunk.

CO trunk on the SV9100.

When user call in CO trunk. VRS will play message.

User direct dial number to SV9500se extension.

Question:
When SV9500se extension busy/no answer.
VRS can't play busy/no answer message.

Any thoughts

Once the call is handed off the 9500 should be doing that.

Hi Coral

Due to co trunk (caller) fm SV9100(VRS greeting) then via CCIS to SV9500se (really extensions)
we propose SV9100 should handle busy or no answer process.
incase 9500se extension no answer then caller hear ringing tone but no respond no answer greeting
and
incase 9500se extension busy then caller hear busy tone no respond busy greeting.

Looks SV9100 VRS can't handle correct process via CCIS to SV9500se.

============================
Analog trunk on the SV9100.

Program 22-02 Set VRS.

Incoming calls are answered by SV9100 VRS.

The 9500se does not have any automatic voice device.

I want SV9100 VRS to get back busy/no answer line.

Actually the VRS and CCIS are working as intended and designed. The only thing I can suggest is if the VRS can do a supervised transfer vs a non supervised transfer. I really don't understand why everyone else in the world uses the VRS like an auto attendant when INMAIL is available and actually IS a voicemail and auto attendant. CCIS is designed to be able to use a centralized VM (on the 9500 I don't know) BUT the VRS is NOT a voicemail system.

HI Coral

I give up this project.
As you said, VRS is not a voicemail system.

Like to use VRS. Probably the cost. grin

Thanks for your response.
