I'm trying to duplicate our existing primary Call Reporter Suite (Reporter, Realtime - v3.3x) setup on another PC for testing and modification, so I don't blow the existing setup.
I already have it installed on the second box,I just want the same filters, tiles and views that are on the primary.
I copied the .flt and .cvd files over, didnt' work, not the same content (filters/tiles), my old set still applies.
I copied the whole directory over, same path - no good, still giving the old info.
Where else is this thing stashing stuff? The Helps imply all is in the .flt/.cvd's. Can't be.
TIA

Copying the CVD and FLT files should work. Is this installed on a server (Citrix or Terminal Services) or a work station? If you copied things over, check the properties of the shortcut. It is possible to use these files located in a different folder. We do this for our citrix users. The shortcut redirects the application to their "My Documents" folder on the network. That allows their settings to follow regardless of which Citrix server they use.

If this computer is running Vista or W7 the configuration files are stored elsewhere.
Inter-Tel CCS is a legacy application which assumes that users have the ability to write to the program files directory. Vista and later redirects all writes to program files to the user's Virtual Store.
The virtual store is located at: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\
Merge the contents of the CCS directory found in the virtual store with the CCS directory with the CCS directory in the real Program Files. Then copy it over to the new machine. All tiles and reports should now be working properly.

Ah HA! I did not 'know' that! Knew it was that way for newer stuff, didn't know it also applied to older stuff.
Thanks!
