Thanks to all the reply in advance.
Sip trunking is something new that is coming to the area for phone service. Recently the carriers have dropping off pri t-1 on a network connection and then convert once on site.
Now the converter box is disappearing. Sip trunking is now what is delivered at the new sites.
We have been having issues with one carriers that is in the same boat as us. Sip is new and don't know a thing about it. We brought in a computer friend to help set up the communications between the carrier and our test equipment. Now we will duplicate at the job site, to hopefully work.
What is used to id the problem with a sip trunk? I was told wireshark to use? Anything else available?
Where is a good place to learn about sip trunking? youtube had somethings on it but not very useful. There are sip schools out there but are they any good?
Again thanks,
Mike

I suggest you use AccessLine for SIP service. They have 2 free testers that check both bandwidth AND ports BEFORE you install their service. This way you KNOW if its gonna work right or not. AccessLine works great with the 500HX.
