I have a small branch office with 9 550.4400 standard digital stations, one per worker. Each worker is assigned one incoming POTS line directly to their phone. In addition, we have a CO Trunk Group with multiple POTS lines used as a reception pool. This Group has multiple ring in, and rings to 4 of the stations via a Station Group. Here is the problem I am having...the workers who receive calls on both their DID POTS lines and the reception Group cannot distinguish which line a call is coming in on...so they are not sure if it is the private line or the reception pool ringing at their desk. Is there any way to set up one of the programmable button to flash for the reception group, and another for the private POTS line? Thank you!

Label the private line trunk groups as PRIVATE. Label the reception trunk group as RECEPTION.
When the phone rings, the trunk group name will be displayed. Of course, they’ll actually have to look at the phone when answering.
Additionally, you could set a programmable key to be a trunk key for the private line. If that key flashes, it’s the private line.
