When a fax comes in to a user what does it say verbatim in the subject line of the email?

What form is the fax in? TIF? PDF?

If you open up the fax file itself does it say anything that would give you any clues as to where it orginates?

Any answers to this? I am still not convinced that your efax solution runs through your phone system.

I have not gotten a fax because i dont know what my number is.

i would imagine it could be in .pdf or .tiff but isnt pdf just going to become a .tiff once sent anyways?

Ok so heres what i figured out. Our phone carrier is Cortel - we use inter-tel for our phones. our voicemail server is a 2000 unified messaging server.
when i go to setup the client for outlook 2003 it says the user doesn't have unified messaging privledges..... any ideas?

Have you asked the people that do receive faxes what number they receive them from?
