Does anyone know the difference between the Inter-Tel 550.8662, 550.8662E and the 550.8662P?

Someone else might have a more definitive answer for this but here is what I can gather.
The 8662E has more RAM than just the regular 8662 (16MB as opposed to 8MB). To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what you would need the extra RAM for on an IP phone although it might be to support SIP.
I think the 8662P is a newer model that has replaced the regular 8662. Perhaps for compatibility with PoE switches. All phones should work the same for the most part.

I don't know definitively either, but to me, they seem more like successive hardware revisions that all do much the same.
Ie. 8660, 8662, 8662E, and then the latest 8662P.
I do know that the 8660/8662 can be powered by PoE. I have that exact setup at home right now.
I thought that the 8662E was Expanded memory for some future SIP features that didn't really materialize. Maybe they just cut down the memory from the 8662E down in the 8662P to make them cheaper to make?

The 8662P is a Class 2 PoE device while the 8662E is a Class 0 PoE Device
