Just wanted to know if anyone has done this, and if so does anything special need to be done.
We want to have an 800 ring our T1, then using the routing send it to a hunt group with two ext that are single line cards. The plan is if one of the fax lies are busy it will jump to the next.
We are using a 8.x Axxess system with a 16 port slc

No problem, just turn off the hunt group flag - Camp-ons Allowed. Otherwise, additional calls will be held in queue while the fax machines are busy.

Be sure you list the primary fax as the first member and the second as the second. If you build a group and put them in it like you would a hunt group with several ext's you will ring them both at the same time and have a collision I would suspect. Randy

Hunt group flag?
I have the Camp-Ons Allowed set to "No" ACD Group "No"
I have set all of the Announcement, Overflow, and Recall to "None"
