Hello, Does anyone have a file converter for the 5200 BVM file format to WAV/MP3? The file size exceeds our Exchange limitations. No exceptions are being allowed. So I need to find another way to convert the file.
Thanks

I don't know what the format is, but I've had pretty good luck with Goldwave. www.goldwave.com It's great for converting those Dialogic VM files to wav. Carl

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it does not recognize the format. Nice application though.

I have found a solution.
Open a programming session for the PBX with the message. Use Operations\voice processor Operation\Voice Processor Save. Backup the mailbox of the user. Be sure to include the New or Saved messages as needed. Copy the file to your local machine. Add “.raw†to the file name of the message you want to convert. Use an audio file conversion program (I used Switch Sound File Converter Plus). The file settings of the file being converted need to be.
Format G711 uLaw Sample Rate 8000 Channels Mono
The settings of the converted file should be.
Format WAV file. PCM uncompressed. Attributes 8000 Hz, 8 bit, Mono
I used a WAV editing program to remove the header information converted to sound at the front of the converted file.
