I just got my Option Card to enable my 2nd MOH source.
Is this hot swap install or do I need to shut down the phone system to install.

It's not hot swap. You have to add the card in the programming first, then turn the system off and put the card in, then turn the system back on. Do a DB save just to be sure!

OPC is hot swap, not a problem. Only the CPC isn't, for obvious reasons.

Oh yeah, life would be interesting if all maintenance had to be performed after-hours!

Yeah then I would vote to change the working hours. So everyone else works off hours and we IT types do our maint 9 - 5 when no one is here. ha

Maybe my system is too old to hot swap cards? I've always done it with the power off, but since the system is in my house, downtime is not a huge issue.
