Hi there. We had to power down our Intertel PBX last night to change-out some UPS batteries. Unfortunately, the EVMC card didn't make it back up. We're not getting any lights on the front, but we can see through the slots that the fan is spinning and the card is powered. When we push the reset button it does beep as well.

We called our usual vendor who had replaced the hard drive back in 2008, but they're telling us that they can no longer get the 32GB hard drives and would have to replace the whole card with a refurbished one at around $xxxx for the card. Alternatively, they're trying to get us to upgrade to a newer system for $xxxx.

Does anyone know of a better solution or a vendor in the Denver area that can simply replace the drive.

Last time we had it replaced, the tech. gave me the software to reload onto a new drive should this one fail... so, I believe I actually have the software somewhere for the EVMC. I'm willing to try and load it onto a 2.5" IDE if anyone is willing to give me instructions. But, I'm not sure if the drive needs to be 32GB. The one I have on hand is 80GB.

Correction... it's actually a 4.87GB IDE drive.

Drive was replaced with a solid state model by Mitel technician at a much more reasonable cost than what our typical vendor wanted for a refurbished card. We changed the fan in the card as well. We're back in business.
